Living In Rittenhouse Square

Rittenhouse Square is the hottest neighborhood in Philadelphia. The picturesque, tree-filled Rittenhouse Square park is surrounded by luxury high rise apartments and lofts, office buildings, five-star hotels, award-winning top chef restaurants and high end shopping and boutiques. The park itself is a beautiful, nationally recognized city park. It’s great for dog walking, stroller pushing and people watching on a sunny Saturday or lazy Sunday afternoon.

What Does Rittenhouse Offer?

It is a cultural and social hot spot in the city with a vibrant night-life and some of the best award-winning restaurants in Philadelphia. There are numerous cafes, coffee shops, salons, spas and yoga or fitness studios to keep you active, social and engaged.  Rittenhouse Square also features a popular weekly farmers market offering fresh, local produce, local and organic poultry and dairy products, homemade baked goods, fair trade chocolates, local wines and cut flowers.

Fun Facts

The park was featured in the Cameron Diaz movie In Her Shoes.

The Fitler Square Neighborhood

Fitler Square  is a small residential neighborhood nestled within Rittenhouse Square. It is named after Fitler Square Park, the heart of the area. Unlike Rittenhouse Square, Fitler Square is a little more quiet and a little less crowded. So you can grab a cup off coffee at one of Fitler Square’s numerous cafes and go enjoy sitting in the park. The park is usually filled with children on play dates, dogs stretching their legs, families enjoying a summer picnic and people watchers occupying the benches, soaking up some sunshine.
